There are lots of reasons to stay, at any time
A short break to the Lake District, at any time of year, is the perfect getaway. You might come for the scenery, or the atmosphere, or just to spend some quality time together, whatever the reason, Elim House is the perfect start to it all.
Autumn leaves display - September to November. Gold, copper and bronze colours adorn the fellsides in one of natures most amazing displays.
Crisp Winter Days - December to February. Bright and frosty days, blue skys, crisp air and snow dusted mountain tops.
Spring blossoms - March to May. Nature bursting back into life after the Winter snow and ice. Fresh green woodlands are carpeted with bluebells and snowdrops. Wordsworth's Dafodills line the country lanes.
Summer -June to August. Lush countryside and gardens in full bloom. Lively atmosphere is local pubs and al fresco dining in a number of restaurants.
