Elim House accepts most credit and debit cards as well as cash & cheques. Please note that due to spiralling costs, those guests wishing to settle their accounts by credit card will, unfortunately, incur a surcharge of 3%. We apologise for this inconvenience
Terms and Conditions
All bookings must be paid for in full for the total number of nights booked. Cancellations will incur a minimum charge of 1 night's stay. No shows or cancellations within 14 days of arrival date will be charged the full amount of the reservation. Valid credit or debit card details are required to make a reservation.

Dove Cottage & The Wordworths Museum |
The award winning museum the Wordsworth Trust's unique collections of manuscripts, books and paintings interpreting the life and work of Wordsworth, his family and circle. There is a major exhibition every year.
An excellent shop sells books, gifts and local crafts relating to English Literature and the Lake district.
Dove Cottage Tea Rooms provide a welcome atmosphere. Meals and snacks made with high quality local produce are served throughout the day. Evening meals during the high season. |
